What's the point of the Cassia's Pride keystone?

It was advertised as "play Blight like an actual tower defense". I for one was looking forward to this, but it was clarified that the keystone does not work with blighted maps.

Which leads me to the question: Why does it even exist? Blight encounters in maps are very small and generally only have a hand full of lanes. They are easy even on a bad build and over rather quickly. Being able to play blighted maps as an actual tower defense would've been a good change, since those can get pretty tough, but right now the node just seems pointless.

I ran blight last league and can tell you that as someone who was able to clear Blight Ravaged Maps, I could still fail in maps. 4 way lanes are very unfair to some builds and this is probably to help them.

Also, blighted maps of any kind are not on the atlas. Historically none of this stuff has worked with blighted maps.
Doesn't make it any less fun that the "pinnacle" Blight content is incompatible with the shiny new Blight keystone. Nobody else's fancy new Keystone turns off for their most important content, why should Blight's?

Some keystones nerf the mechanics, the blight one is pure upside... maybe you should be grateful.

This, and I had multiple instances where the layout was so bad I only got nodes for one or two towers in T16 which is going to be a miserable time for anyone running a fully juiced blight setup on the tree.
General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.

Is it tho? All the people running 100M DPS builds aren't about to trade 75M DPS for the however-much-it-is from towers, they're just gonna blink arouind the encounter and kill everything themselves the same way they always do. I actually saw it as the sort of keystone people only take if they're 'bad' and can't afford to buy the sort of build that trivializes Blight as well as everything else.

nobody is born with 100mil dps. that keystone is free currency when you rush your atlas, t16 maps with red altars... mby include strongbox since its another easy mechanic.
I'm surprised people are surprised by this. When has Atlas Passives every applied to Blight maps?

Unless they stated otherwise, it clearly was not going to work.
Thanks for all the fish!

I understand the complaint I always think the atlas nodes should work for blight maps too however -

Regular Blight maps are already the easiest piece of blight content

Blight ravaged maps would become trivial with the buff as they are already extremely tower focused unless your playing an absolutely disgusting build

The end result is the safest area to limit them too is in regular maps, where it will help you clear them when undergeared, running crazy modded maps or deal with those 5 way 5 boss pentagram spawns you occasionally get where even strong builds struggle.

I'm gonna take this notable on HC league start for sure, blight is crazy good XP before you have resources to blast with and this just makes it so you can do any setup easily.
Sometimes blight-lanes in maps get zero towers. This node will be very funny then :)
