Question about returning projectiles and Wild Strike

Hello everyone, been away for a while now, and I read about this returning projectile mechanic, and I thought that It could be good with wild strike and the frost projectiles, but my question is this: Do the returning projectiles damage the enemy I am facing? I mean if I'm fighting a boss, and I cast wild strike on him, it's going to do frost damage, then a projectile will be expelled from the boss outwards, I know normally those projectiles don't damage the target, that's how I remember that to work, but then, when said projectiles return to me, let's say 3 projectiles return to me, are those going to damage the boss? Sorry for the noob question and I appreciate the answers

as to wild strike, ice part can be supported by projectile supports, nothing unusual in that matter for this skill.
