Newbie in poe needs your help

Hey I this is my first time playing poe and I am stuck


I keep dying to map tier 1 mobs and I saw some people say that I need higher resistances, but I don't know how to get those kinds of items, For example there are so many different chestplate names which one should I choose in the trade website and how do I know what items to sell when they drop.

I keep getting 1 shot by bosses and sometimes even group of minions.
I even have hard time completing merc labyrinth

So tl;dr I would appreciate any tips on how to make currency + what items and suffixes are best for my build and what suffixes for resistances

If your diying in Tier 1 means you probably have not a lot of currency.

Dont worry if you fail at the beginning.
PoE is hard to master if your new to the game.
Currency and knowledge comes with time. So play your build until you know what your doing before spending any serious currency. You most likely waste it anyway like all of us.
