Constant 160fps since last graphical patch!

Just wanted to say that the latest patch was indeed beneficial for my system!

For years I had a 144hz monitorm which I replaced with a 160hz one. Playing POE with all the graphics to normal or low, I would get the maximum framerate to 144 or 160 when pretty much nothing happened, but simply getting to town it would drop to 90-100fps (that's at 2K resolution). Because of that I chose to lower my maximum refresh rate to about 120, on both monitors, so to not always push my graphic card to the max (had a 3070 for 18 months, now on a 6900XT for 9 months).

With the latest patch, I put my monitor back to maximum 160hz, put all the graphic settings to High/Ultra *except* for Shadows & Light which seem to tax the game A LOT. With those settings I'm now getting a constant 160 fps! I have yet to see the framerate drop below 160, but since I deleted all my characters from 3.21, I started leveling a new character and the number of mobs is rather low, so maybe at some point it will drop below 160fps hehe.

Any of you playing in 2K resolution and actually tried playing POE since the latest patch? Do you have better FPS numbers?

(forgot to mentioned I play with a 5600X oc'ed @ 4.7Ghz)

I don't feel any difference with the patch cause I have my fps limited to 144 since my monitor is limited to a 144hz refresh rate. Did some testing tho and I actually would get more fps than before if I had a 1440p monitor with a higher refresh rate.
Could run my game with 220-180 fps on max settings on my 2070, but at the same time it's good that I only play at 144 cause I don't have to slave the hell out of my somewhat older gpu. Plus I can't really bother to buy a "better" monitor cause it wouldn't make much of a difference for most other games I play since they barely get over 144fps and I wouldn't feel much of a big difference with 10-15 more fps.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
I have a 240hz 4k monitor and was annoyed when I saw my fps dip from 150ish down to 80 post patch.

BUT! after reading your post, I went back in and messed with stuff, and it turns out switching to DX11 was the issue! I'm now at 240 FPS!! :D :D :D

Awesome patch!!

WOW that's awesome! :D
240 in hideout i should clarify.

When clearing packs at high speeds, it dips to 100 pretty regularly.

Still, big improvement!
I had 30fps before the patch and 380fps after!
This is great! I love life!
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today!
Constant spikes, lagging masters, jumping fps, before stable 80 fps on medium-high, after 40-80 jumping fps on lowest, ye good patch, thx :)
hoho alrighty then.

I have 5600x stock and 6700xt, actually not that great. Fps are dropping constantly to 60 in t16 juiced without Deli.

Tried both Vulkan and Dx12. Default settings. Fps cap at 140 because of 1080p 144Hz monitor.

I think it was smoother before.
