Lab in PoE 2

Was there any news is there going to be big chances for lab / how do you actually get your asendancy points?

I'm pretty sure I'm talking for everyone when I'm saying the lab sucks!!

I really wish you would get asendancy passives just like bandit rewards so maybe after Act 3,6,8, and 10 boss completion gain 2 passives??

I'm sure they are not going to make changes to lab, at least not big ones, in PoE 1 but I really wish they would delete entire lab in PoE 2

I like Lab, hope they will keep it in the game and upgrade/add more content to it. It is one of the better elements in the game.

If i could get ascendancy passives somewhere else i would never enter lab in my life, these days you can already get lab enchantments for your items outside the lab so why not ascendancy points?

why do you ask me? Im just saying lab could use some extra content to be more profitable like delve or heist, not only enchants

it could be much more, extra stuff behind dangerous traps, more goodies with some challenge before Izaro, something more on level with delve/heist/delirium.

oooh now i see... this could be interesting... make the lab into depths instead of rooms, with heist like mechanics that need crews to open doors of all colors and you need to reveal the path to the next floor with some droppable floor plans and coins, and each time you descent you get some debuffs like in deli, all within one portal, so when you DC you know you DCed.... yes yes, this has some serious potential.

this isnt a bad idea, we could indeed find, after a series of deadly traps, Exiles that were doomed to be imprisoned there forever and in return for saving them we could get some cool rewards, maybe new currency indeed, something lab related. Delirium style sidezone with some lab reward sounds great, maybe like a grand lab dark shrine? sounds great! thanks for inspiration!

I don't understand why people hate on lab?
It's easy and like 20min(uberlab) if you're going in semi-slow. What's the problem?

The only thing i hope is that they would just make it harder to achieve ascendancy

To answer the question rather than ride the "EHRMEGEHRD LEHRB SEHRCKS" train: the developers confirmed that the Labyrinth will not be how you Ascend in PoE2. They did not confirm how you would Ascend, or whether there was going to be an Izaro's Labyrinth in PoE2 at all, but if there is such a place (and I hope there is, the Labyrinth is an interesting idea that could use some more love), it will not be where you get your Ascendancies.

While I don't do it more often than I have to, Izaro's Labyrinth is actually kinda fun. It's one place (Delve is another) which has a sense of exploration to it. I enjoy seeking out hidden rooms for big buffs, and I can comfortably deal with the various traps now, so it's not at all bad. Of course, I don't play the Zoom-zoom game, so a few speed-bumps don't get me down. =^[.]^=
