From what we saw, do you plan to play PoE 2 or stay in 1?

For me PoE 2 is looking like ruthless with new graphics. Didnt like it and probably wont play it.

I love PoE for its fastness and variety and i plan to stay here.

What about you?

Play both, if it turns out it's too much, I'll go to the one I like more.

I don't fucking care what PoE2 turns out. I have played PoE for so long, I am sticking to that. That's the game that has my history with it intact. They should've made an update. A separate game I can only hope it fails and we get our resources, player and developers that it will steal back.

if I feel POE2 is hurting PoE1, I'll just quit both. If you wanted me to play PoE2, it should've been an update to the game I love, not a different game.

Both. However I think PoE 1 will be my main game. I don't like Dark souls so I am really not sure what to think of PoE 2 until I play it.

I wouldn't mind slowed down and more meaningful combat, i'd actually appreciate that not as a replacement but as a change of pace. The deciding factor is going to be character progression.
If POE 2 is again designed entirely around trade for progression with shit loot and even worse crafting then I'll pass, don't need a second version of this shit even less so if it's even remotely close to ruthless level. Since that's kinda what i am expecting i'll probably stay with POE or switch to another game alltogether.

poe2 looks amazing ngl, but i like the concept of classlessness. i stuck with poe1 despite its ascendancies coz ascendencies was something that grew on top of poe1.

poe2... i might play it NGL but i dont think not for long term.

as for poe 1. i m kinda salty as poe2 was supposed to fix poe1's problems.

i m a melee enjoyer. seeing poe2's melee with all their qol... i cant help but feel extra salty. it does not help when GGG announced that the new animation/model rigs are very likely not going to poe1.

the money i spent supporting GGG went to a game that i have little interest in. the effort that they put went mostly into poe2. knowing this, it irks me to no end that poe2 took away resources from poe1.

if i had to choose, probably be playing poe1.

but as of now. i feel so much salt, after i m done with crucible i feel like i ll take an extended leave from poe entirely.

You can check my forum history. I've ranted about enemy density causing fundamental problems in the game. Movement and all the downsides that come with such things so many times over the years.

Notice how they kinda dodge every question about move speed?
They want to make PoE2 slower and more engaging combat.

I'm all for it.

PoE2 all the way, at least initially. If they deliver on all their design goals stated during ExileCon, I'll probably never touch PoE1 again.

Not really much information out to make a definitive statement, only after PoE2 comes out that we will be 100% sure if the new game and leagues will be garbage or not.

That being said, i'm not thrilled for D5, i mean, PoE2.
