Increasing Area of Effects for Auras?

POE 2 announcements made me feel that there will be more viability for party gameplay but in current balance Auras has too small radius so support has to be closer than 1/2 of a screen to party members to have some distance buffer for movements. People are zooming through the map too fast so synchronizing movements with support is kind of... Too difficult and unfun?

I know that support is very, very strong, maybe even unfair addition to any character. But still, forcing players to play so is not a balance - it's a hassle.

Even if you spend many resources in Area of Effect sources (without infinite scaling ones) you'd still have less than 1 screen area which has no visible indication on the ground.

I do believe POE 2 will have viable support build options allowing support to deal damage and attack by himself so playing semi-support would be much more interesting than just being a walking follower pressing nothing but a movement button. So why don't give auras 2 times larger AOE and balance them another way?
