Geforce Now performance is much worse after the patch
|
Here are some examples
this is DirectX 11 with the same settings I had before the patch https://youtu.be/y-QwOhp8BQg This is DirectX 12 with the adaptive Vsync https://youtu.be/XhLq8jAPlTM This is Vulkan performance with adaptive Vsync https://youtu.be/fJXV6H5u580 Overall issues - the latency spikes and fps drops hard , from like 70-100 to 20-30, sometimes I have to wait 2-3 seconds until my character moves to the point I clicked on. Textures are popping in. It wasn't like that before the patch, it was smooooooth like butter! :( Please halp If you need any help with debugging this - please contact me using my email. I have been dying all day due the constant lag that the update introduced. Happy I’m not in hardcore league.

" wait for nvidia to fix its driver. (the likely reason) |
|
" Maybe that's the issue, but I still have to alert the developers about it so they can communicate with NVIDIA. |

The issue is still persist, can you update us on any progress? I can play Baldur's gate 3 on the highest settings without any issues but PoE are lagging, getting frame drops and overall feels bad.
Please check it on Geforce Now and you will see it yourself. |

I am just speculating, but there is a good chance that those geforce now rigs may have limited hard drive writing ability, for performance and or security reasons. Shaders may not be getting cached properly.
