best movement gems for caster?

im playing a caster (wand/spirit shield)

wondering what is the best movement skills for it? what feels the closest to leap slam+faster attack on a caster (i use LS on my glad)

Flame Dash for most intents and purposes. That isn't limited to casters either, it's the best alround movement skill there is for any class or build because it allows you to pass through boss mechancis without getting hit which is vital in some scenarios like with mavens beams that disable recovery. The first cast with it is also instant so no time delay and you get up to 4 uses with it.

Frost Blink also deserves mention because it allows you to move even during an attack animation for example but it's rather specialized usage, not all purpose.

Leap Slam, Whirling blades, Shield Charge, Dash and all the other movement skills are all sub par and more of a fluff thing, not something you'd consider as your main movement skill on a serious build. If you got the space you can slam them onto a build alongside Flame Dash for faster movement in maps but that's basically the only thing they are good for. The closest thing to fast movement ala leap slam for casters is probably lightning warp but that skill has it's quirks so i don't recommend it.

frostblink, especially anomalous gets to be extremely useful
in high density high speed situations, like delve, heist, delirium
anywhere there are a lot of rare monsters around. more monsters of
any kind increase cooldown recovery.

as an ice witch I linked it to lvl 6 awake added cold damage,
increased aoe and cause considerable damage with it.

with some cooldown recovery mods you can fly from one
end of a heist to the other after lockdown. trashmobs
refilling flasks the whole time :D
