Monster Level and Maps
Is there a way to see what Monster Level certain maps are?
When I 'alt' over a map, it shows me the `Tier` and `Item Level`. However, when I actually run a map, neither of those values seem to be the resulting Monster Level for the map. My goal is to self find a few pieces of level 84+ gear, but I was hoping to run the "easiest map" level wise. In my mind I was trying to find a map with level 83 monsters and then get relevant drops from Magic/Rare Monsters or from opening Strongboxes with the relevant `+# Item level` modifier. I know I can just trade for the bases that I want, but I wanted to learn a little more of how to obtain gear myself as I continue trying to learn this game deeper... Monster lvl is equivalent to the zone or map lvl.
However magic mobs can drop +1lvl items and unique bosses +2. |

T16 map for lvl83 mobs.
Gwennen and Rog will sell you ilvl 84-86 not sure if that's a ideal method though. -Official Forum Dweller- -I started the hoho movement- -Exploit Early - Exploit Often- -Moderators are absurd and OP- -Heist Enjoyer- Last edited by xPiranha#4678 on Jul 20, 2023, 12:13:32 PM

"Usually monster level = 67 + tier. "Normally you need Tier 16 for monster level 83. "There are other ways of getting high ilvl items like Expedition (if you are lvl 90 or higher). No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Is there a way from looking at a Map item itself before I put it into a the Map Device, what zone/map level a it will give me?
Basically I want to setup 20 maps ready to go in my Stash and just run them without thinking about the map itself and just focus on looking for the bases that I'm after. --- I have six Tier 12 Necropolis maps, will all 6 of them always be the same zone level if I run them? Because what might also be confusing me is that though the maps are all the same tier they range in their actual Item level from lv79-85. |
