Crits with cold damage appear to prevent stun (freeze related?)

Setup: 100% chance to be crit (+10% crit chance Scourge armour, 5x high roll Reckless Defence), 100% chance to be stunned by any hit (mastery, 0 ES, no avoidance), getting hit by an Archer Statue with a physical default attack and a partially cold converted Ice Shot.
Test 1: no other conditions Default attack: always stuns Ice Shot: never stuns Test 2: disable enemy crits (Garb of the Ephemeral) Default attack: always stuns Ice Shot: always stuns Test 3: take some physical damage as cold (Taste of Hate) Default attack: never stuns Ice Shot: never stuns Test 4: shift all cold damage to non-cold (Divine Flesh + Tempered by War) Default attack: always stuns Ice Shot: always stuns (Reckless defence occasionally causes blocks. We ignore those.) Might be related to whatever mechanic prevents stuns by hits that freeze, though actually inflicting freeze doesn't seem to matter. Adding Freeze immunity (Arctic Armour) doesn't change the above results, nor does stacking chance to be frozen (Replica Reckless Defence). Video (youtube): Test 1-3. Test 4. Some additional testing in PvP with blvcksvn:
Confirming previous findings: - physical damage crit: stuns - cold damage crit: does not stun - cold damage crit with 100% cold taken as non-cold: stuns Freeze chance instead of crit: - cold damage non-crit with 100% chance to freeze: stuns Interaction with Hexblast's All Damage can Freeze: - pure chaos damage hexblast: stuns - hexblast with added cold damage: does not stun - hexblast with added cold and 100% cold taken as non-cold: stuns Really does seem to require a genuine cold damage crit, not just 100% freeze chance or freeze-capable damage. Another PvP test, with assistance from KroIya:
Interaction with Cannot Ignite, Chill, Freeze or Shock (Leadership's Price): - cold damage crit: does not stun - cold damage crit when attacker is unable to ignite/chill/freeze/shock: stuns Definitely seems freeze-related on some level (for the attacking character, not the defender, which has purity of elements). " It's likely related (per the title), but as stated, this bug occurs when freeze isn't applied, whether it's due to not reaching the minimum duration or due to immunity. That obviously isn't intended, but if it hypothetically were, then Hexblast's ability to freeze with any damage should also make it incapable of stunning with any damage. It may be logic that stayed in without being actively reviewed/maintained, which could explain the inconsistancy (only for cold damage, only for crits).
In this case, it could be that since the hits are applying freeze, they skip/do not apply stun--without checking whether the target becomes frozen, or can be frozen. Which could also mean that checking whether the target can be frozen is a part of a normal roll to freeze, that is skipped on crit to reduce extra calculations? |

please fix this bug.
even I allocated the elemental mastery "Critical strikes agaists you do not inherently inflict Elemental Ailments" or I run purity of elements to immune to freeze. this bug still occurs. this bug stop my build at 500 depth delve. sad :( |

while we are at it can you confirm picking up items can make it so we cannot be stunned hence stun jewel setup recovery not working? im running Chieftain cast when stun build/non-fulcrum version
