can somone tell me how PoE 2 exactly works?

for example PoE 2 had new art new animations pretty much looked like diablo 4 but is that only how PoE 2 campaign will look like or the entire game gonna look like that? does that mean all endgame bosses we have now also will be made to look different? all the bosses on atlas maps too? like everything? cuz i dont get it

No one really knows for sure which areas of the game the tweaked engine upgrades will be attributed to. Since the new 19 ascendancy choices are exclusive to the PoE2 campaign, one could at least surmise that a PoE1 campaign "remaster" is unlikely.

Who knows for the endgame, but it would be super awkward to have a downgraded transition from an enhanced PoE2 campaign. I would think the endgame will also get love.

The hope is that Exilecon clears a few things up, as it's almost all speculation. GGG had been absurdly quiet on 4.0 information, which has lead to all kinds of misinformation and confusion.

This pretty much sums it up.

The endgame is currently the most unknown part. All we do know, is that the current campaign and the new (PoE 2) campaign will have a "shared endgame". As the current endgame is mostly based on tile-sets, design and bosses from the current campaign, I would bet most of my money on the PoE 2 endgame being based on tile-sets, design and bosses from the new campaign, or at LEAST a mixture between new assets and updated PoE 1 assets. But again, we do not know.

But as the good Sir I'm quoting says; playing through a brand new campaign just to transition into an old endgame would be very anticlimactic.

No, wait until Exilecon, infrormation isn't likely to be out until then. Everyone is operating in the dark, and anything already known could change from new information from Exilecon anyway (because that's how game dev works, nothing is 100% until release).

Be paitent and ask again in . . .

poe 2 is still poe. same game just different story u could follow. new socket system. and the new animations also is for "poe 1" cause it's the same game. all improvements is for both stories. only difference will be the story u will follow to get to the "end game" by which i mean maps. even though the campaign basically is a tutorial :')
