Will I be able to play POE 1 after POE 2 is released.

Yes
Yes and no.

You will be able to play the original campaign and keep all your MTX.
But you will play it in the new/updated engine with all the improvements from PoE2.
2 games with different campaign and with same end game system.
learning is a painful process ... knowledge is the most deadly weapon.
Feel like GGG could've made it a little bit more apparent that it was not going to be a separate game but perhaps that worked in their favor to keep some of the hype train at top speed because the idea of an entirely "new" game is a bit more lofty than what we're really getting, the biggest expansion in history promising to possibly double amount of content we have to enjoy and open up countless new builds both with all of the new stuff but also the old in combination :)

Innocence forgives you
We don't know yet. The whole dual campaign thing is 3,5 year old info at this point and we've seen very little updates since then(the Brutus rework being the big one).

I personally think the old campaign will at best be some legacy mode that you won't be able to play in current leagues.
Ninja.
poe2 is just poe patch 4.0, how many times will people ask about this

actually we do know. unless GGG changed their stance.

u simply choose if u want to run poe1 or poe2 campaign with new characters.

once complete, the end game is shared.

that said. the entire gem/socketing system will be different so POE1 as we knew it would no longer exist. i m betting that leveling will feel better with poe2's new system.

The only fact is that we don't know anything.
There is no updated "2023 information" about "poe 2" or leagues after crucible.

It is safe to assume that we get to know more during and after exilecon.
Yes old campaign will still be available but with updates assets here and there, as mentioned in first Exilecon. To what extent overall we dont know.
The only notable changes so far was the updated Lioneye's watch town and Brutus fight, with additional changes like new monsters in act 2 and new Zombie animations.

Oh there is also unrelated stuff to campaign to get closer to PoE 2 quality which are 11 new maps with updatted assets and boss fights. These where added in patch 3.13. Forking River is one of these to give you an example.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks
