will increased stun and block recovery help an EV/ES build ?
I am under the impression that we still have a half stun when there is ES still in the pool. until it is 0. also that physical damage causes stuns. as a caster I have very little (at the moment like 1%) phys reduction so im vulnerable anytime I take phys that I survive, to being stunned by it. my interpretation is that increased stun recovery will help me recover and start moving/evading sooner. furthermore that when I do block, as I rarely do at like 23% I recover from the block animation quicker. to prepare for the next incoming and to evade or at least have a chance to block again. increased block and stun recovery is not the best mod for an ev/es caster. but is it useless? does it help a bit as I suspect or is it actually a complete waste of a mod? i think it has a value greater than zero. how valuable is it for my defense in reality? for those who know. Its pretty useless unless you are doing something with bloodnotch and even then those builds use another unique jewel for 1000 stun and block recovery. Im sure its noticeable if you get enough but other mods on gear are far more valuable.
And with energy shield you have an innate 50% chance to avoid stuns, not half stun duration. So you can still be fully stunned with energy shield. Getting stun immunity is by far the bets option but soul of the brine king is usually good enough for most builds so you cant get stun locked Last edited by gladiatorpie#3317 on Jun 3, 2023, 10:13:33 PM

thanks for the reply. I grabbed an item with 5/6 ideal stats.
but the unideal stat I was wondering if it was helping by more than a little. oh well. I never fixated on block and stun but. now I consider it on the order of 20 mana. or 7 fire resist. not very helpfull. |
