Issues with aspect of the spider skill
I have a ring with the mod "Grants level 20 aspect of the spider skill". However it seems to not be working. When I activate this aspect skill, the icon on the bottom right of the screen (where it shows the skill is active) is turned on. Also, the character is surrounded by white energy (indicating it is affected by the skill). However it is not displayed on the top of the screen with other heralds and buffs. And what makes me be sure it's not working is that when I get close to enemies, nothing seems to change. The debuff is not being applied to the enemies.
When I switch the ring to another one with the mod "Grants level 20 aspect of the crab skill" everything seems to work as it should be. Note: I have the skill Unholly Authority, which allows me to apply an additional curse (frostbite and aspect of the spider, would be my choices in my current build. both mods are on the same ring) Last bumped on May 31, 2023, 9:53:38 PM

Aspect of the Spider isnt a curse nor an aura in the traditional sense (as in provides a buff for the player and therefore shows a buff icon).
Think of it as an AoE debuff that does reserve mana. If nearby enemies are covered in spiderwebs, it does work. |

That's the thing... they're not covered in spiderwebs

" Oh, well! Now I see the difference. It's working for me too then. LOL I believe I was not making distinction because the effect is applied so damn quick. And it doesn't disappear as long as you keep close to the enemies. When I was watching the video I recorded, I could see the effect on them. My bad, guys! And thank you all for helping. Cheers |
