Question about Divination Card from Bosses

Hello,

I´m farming Mind´s Eye (Astral Projector) Cards in SSF. It´s a boss drop from bosses with mine tag and really pain in the a...

I´m farming since 4 weeks and have just 3 of 7 cards... My questions are:

1. Is item quantity really uneffected for divination cards from bosses? I´ve read thats a fix loot table for bosses.

2. Whats about Divination Scarabs? Is this working or useless?

3. Crystal Ore has 3 bosses. Do I have a triple chance or is the mechanic equal to one boss maps?

Any suggestion to improve my drop rate?

If that card has a fix drop rate, quantity shoudlnt affect that.
But im not 100% sure.

They work like intended.
More div cards. Doesnt mean that it increases the drop rate of that specific card. But more Div cards increases the chance that it is one of them.

It shouldnt. You get the map completion only when finish them all.
You can test that with Kiracs missions.

Which divination card nodes? You talk about the divination card nodes from strong boxes? I have skilled them, but there are only low divination card drops.

Or is there another option to skill?

I don't have much div card farming experience but I am currently try to farm the offering, which is boss only I believe.

It's tough going, and i'm guessing it's only medium on the rarity scale. Div scarabs certainly help from my experience, ive been using those when i can along with sac frags, not sure if that helps. Double boss map roll I'm assuming is good, I don't think possessed effects drop but could be wrong?

Also trying ritual where I can, I'm guessing if you spawn it on the boss, it then is in the next rituals, so if you work backwards you then have 4 time chance to drop? plus blood vessel, but haven't dropped any cards in this way yet so can not confirm. Not spec'd for this.

At rate I have been going may well be faster to farm stacked decks etc, from heist/expedition/harvest.

Also wondering about using diviners delirium orbs which I have but I doubt this helps with drops off the boss? How about strongboxes, can they drop only cards or just what is in the map?

Also interested in this if anyone has more knowledge than me.

Gambling harvest is an option but would prefer guarantied, though probably too over-levelled to run t10 now





Quant helps for div card drops on bosses as far as I know, i've used it on farming lioneyes from act6 queen before, though never used it in maps. I have all the quant unique so I might give gear swap a try, dont like messing around with this usually in hc

Just run about 15 tower swapping in +40quant on gear. Impossible to know how much it helped on this sample size, though it seemed to me slightly improved on drops. Dropped about 15 cards off the boss (1 of which was the offering, about 7 of the other shav card and I think some non-boss drop cards aswell). Hard to say if it's worth the downsides but if I was rushing straight to boss repeatedly it may be worth it. Maps I was running were chiseled and alched, with about 20 quant from tree and 10 from sac frag. If it is additive that's about 240 total, so 20% extra from the gear swap. Was not corrupting or using div scarabs which would be able to get close to 600% by my reckoning.

Also managed to get some rituals on the boss, boss was killed 9 times in rituals, 4 cards were dropped from those rituals, but none of the cards dropped where from the boss drop only table.

Wondering if metamorph is an option? Can the metamorph of the map boss drop cards from that bosses table. I dropped an organ of Bazur but no div cards from about 3 metamorphs on the run.

Edit: actually with the winged scarab 250% more, it should be able to get well above 10x.


- Took me roughly 100 maps to get the 8 cards. Not sure how much rarer minds eye is, ive seen seen some data about this on a reddit spreadsheet before, though not sure it included boss only, cant check because there is no access currently. It's the same price on trade and listed as 3x more on poe.nija so perhaps that's an indication. Do not know if quant/scarabs were helping or not, I was gear swapping all maps but only using scarabs when I had double bosses. I think it was helping but very possible it doesn't. I can see some threads about this on reddit as well but can't read. I killed 20-30 extra bosses in rituals and got 0 drops of any boss only div cards, so seems to me this doesn't work. Not sure what the purpose of putting the boss in the ritual is if this is the case other than maybe getting more ritual tribute.
