Why isn't the Beyond Demon appearing?

"I took the Atlas skill called 'Beyond' because there were three of them. It was located on the left side of the Atlas skill tree. I was expecting to encounter something called 'Beyond Demon' or similar, which supposedly drops currency. However, I have been running Tier 1 maps approximately ten times, but I haven't come across any such entity like the Beyond Demon at all. Am I doing something wrong? It is stated that the Beyond Demon has a 10% chance of appearing on the map, but it doesn't show up. If I continue running the maps, will it eventually appear with a 10% chance?"

If you mean Scent of Blood, then yes, there is a 10% chance that the map will have beyonds.
(Why not give exact names instead of "something called 'Beyond'"?) |

10% is a pretty low chance, and 10 maps is a pretty low sample size. Yes, it does work though. Just keep mapping. Sometimes you'll have unlucky streaks and not get any Beyond demons for quite a while, others you can have them appear several maps in a row.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

In addition, the chances of Tainted Currency dropping are quite small. If you need this currency, it's better to use the map mod or sextant for Beyond.

Thank you for the information, everyone. By repeatedly using the Orb of Alteration to add mods for Beyond on the map, creatures like Beyond Demons now appear.
