Needing help with mana and mana regen

I just made my first ranger and I'm running into mana issues. How can I get my mana to regen faster? I see lots of content creators with rangers and they basically never run out of mana. How can I get a similar effect?

your profile is private but in general,use a devouring diadem, link your auras to enlighten gem. take the mana reservation nodes on the tree. you can get cluster jewels with mana reservation. you can link some skills to lifetap or divine blessing

We are not sure what is your context until we see your character, but for league start scenarios on your first character (no gear, no currency scenario), this is what I would do:

- Bring one or two mana flasks
- Run Clarity aura. Keep it at level 1 or 2 otherwise it will reserve too much mana
- Help Alira for +5 mana regen per sec. You can change this later
- Summon ballistas to aid you in boss fights. Costs mana upfront to summon them but their attacks won't consume your mana


If you got a bit lucky and found some pieces of gears with considerable amount of life regen, this is what you can do next:

- Allocate Life Mastery node "Skill cost Life instead of 30% of Mana cost". In case the self-description is hard to understand, basically this cuts your mana consumption of all non-reservation skills by 30%, but you also pay 30% of the skill cost with your life. You can change this later
- Link your skill to Lifetap Support gem


Upon reaching level 31, you have one further option:

- Inspiration Support gem


Upon reaching level 40-ish, you will deal enough damage so if you have those 0.4% or 1% mana leech passives allocated, you pretty much shouldn't run out of mana as long as you are attacking enemies.

There's a fair bit of options in the ranger section of the tree. Mana on hit, leech, life costs, recoup, alira, enduring flask, reduced mana cost jewelry or on tree, vaal clarity, diadem. Impossible to know which is good for your build without you providing more information.
