CHALLENGE:PEDDLER PRODUCE II

Hi m new to the game, and m trying to complete challenges... but m having truble with creating influenced item, i had been looking for a guide or something and it seems that one way to do this is by selling influenced neckes plus 1 of each colour gems.... the thing is not working for me, when i do that the shop only returns to me a neckles without any influence....
