GGG is considering the idea of allowing melee to dual wield two handers. It requires meeting a very high strength threshold (meaning you have to have the combined strength requirement for both weapons) and an added keystone that removes any attack speed bonus from dual wielding, however you can use two.

Uhh...I doubt this unless it is also going to limit sockets. Being able to get three 6L in addition to added DPS of two 2h would be pretty powerful.

" They can, but the drawbacks would have to be balanced to keep it in line with other builds. The problem is that DPS isn't everything, all this is likely to do is make a melee character even more of a glass-cannon. Self proclaimed noob to the core, but still hardcore
