How does Heatshivers cold conversion to fire and the sadist cluster notable interact?

The Heat Shiver Helmet gives you: gain 100% of cold damage as extra fire damage against frozen enemies.
The sadist notable gives you increased damage if you've ignited an enemy recently. If the heatshiver conversion acts as an ignite and would benefit from sadist and other things that affect ignite? Thank you for your help. Last bumped on May 21, 2023, 1:58:02 PM

Yes the extra damage can ignite and would benefit from sadist.
