empowered entanglement challenge

are these bosses random or can we target them somehow? like do some appear in lower maps while others in higher? or some only appear in the remnants?

finished the challenge now. if anyone was wondering you can find them all just by doing T16's, you dont need to run remnants

Are there any tips on what to allocate for certain ones?

I just keep getting the same ones when they spawn. Can't find any good source what to look for to target a specific unique. I got Ataxia, Knepha, Metallon and Therion like, 100 maps ago, but can't seem to find Agnosia and Autonomir.

Apparently each boss has a hidden damage type and can pop only when gaining XP for a passive with the same type.

As an example, I had a terrible time finding Autonimir, which is chaos-based. It happened I was levelling sceptres and copies of Dawnbreaker shield, which have mostly phys/elem nodes... So I tried with bows and daggers and met Autonomir twice in less than 10 maps.

This may be coincidencial, but other players reported similar results, so I tend to give credit to this theory.

autonimir actually has a phys tag do I don't think thats it. May have something to do with base type though, I only level wands and only saw 3 until really recently.
