QoL ask - Visual cues for when you have or don't have an incubator applied to gear

I would love to see some visual implementation to show if there is a incubator applied to a piece of gear or not instead of having to hover over each piece to figure out which item has used up.
Currently, there is a graphic box around each gear slot - wondering if the box edging could highlight a different colour if there is an incubator applied and revert to the current look when one is done. If this is already in the game, would be great to get feedback on how to set that up. Last bumped on Jun 5, 2023, 12:33:18 PM

Even a generic incubator icon in the lower corner of an item would help a lot. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

To avoid asking them to draw new assets/UI for something that isn't MTX, how about just ctrl-click on incubator in inventory without having stash opened, to apply an incubator to random piece of gear that does not have incubator yet?
Do people even care which incubator goes where? Aside from leveling below 80 stage, when you don't have many incubators anyway, manual application serves no purpose at all, or at least I cannot see such purpose. |
