Minimap cache folder went missing

My minimap is fully unrevealed each time I exit and enter a map again.

So I went to search for the cache folder and remove it.

There is no cache folder on my drive anymore either.

I seached in:
- C:\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile
(I installed here instead of program files)

- C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

- C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile
==> This one was empty other than a engine.version file. I deleted the folder and it was recreated on starting the game and contains the usual cached files now. But no minimap folder and the minimap is still not working.


Where is the minimap cached?

The cache has been moved around a lot over the last years. Did I just miss another location change maybe?
