Frozen Legion + Intimidating cry

Hello,
I got a simple question with complicated answer.
When you use Intimidating cry, your next 2 attacks get DOUBLE DMG.
When i look into PoB i see it does double dmg.
When i look into game... here is no indicator if it works.
Only one indicator is... it does not consume charge.
But we saw already build which using:
---------------
STATIC STRIKE
+
Shockwave
+
Cry
---------------
And it works.
So my question is... Do it prove DOUBLE DAMAGE for Frozen Legion?

No, to benefit from exerted attacks you have to perform them yourself.
In this case the attacks are performed by frozen statues.
