Herald of Ice may be reflecting damage even though it says it cannot

My cold based wander UnrewandingLeague has Awakened Ele dmg with attacks lvl 5 on both power sipon and kinetic, which means i shouldnt be able to take elemental damage from reflect through if I do a map with elemental reflect. However, I was still dying very suddenly in ele reflect maps and didnt understand why. I noticed its always after killing mobs, so I disabled herald of ice, and no longer died. This is weird because the damage from the explosion of herald of ice shouldn't be reflectable afaik.

Cold snaps initial damage is a hit so it will reflect. If I were to guess its the likely culprit.

I'm aware of that but I dont use while mapping; just for bosses. Maybe I reflexively use it without realizing it as Im pressing focus so im going to record it.

Also, disabling HoI wouldnt stop me from dying if it was cold snap as it would still kill me, but thats not the case.
