What gems work with "Mark of Submission Unset Ring"?

I've googled and tried to find an answer. Instead, all I ever see is someone just repeating the ring's description "Curse Enemies with Socketed Hex Curse Gem on Hit". Does this mean if I put the blue gem HexBlast in the ring that every time I attack and hit an enemy when dual wielding that they will be struck with HexBlast? If not, what gems will work in the ring? Please give a couple examples with specific gem names. I am a novice gamer so please explain it like you would to a 4-year-old. Thanks, Roy

Only Hex curses. Elemental Weakness, Flammability, etc. You can look at the gem tooltips, and right under the name at the top it shows you the tags for that skill. It needs to have both the "Hex" and "Curse" tags. Not "Mark", the other type of curse. And not anything like Bane (or Hexblast) which qualifies as a "Hex", but is not a "Curse".
