What are some high investment currency making strategies for slower builds?

Title.

I made a poison SRS build and I've finally reached a level of DPS I haven't seen since the nerfageddon of 3.15 that also doesn't cost an unreasonable amount of currency to reach. I would like to try moving away from low investment strategies and try something a bit on the high end. Trouble is, I've always done low investment and was never able to afford anything better so I don't know where to start.

I've seen some videos on youtube, but they all entail blitzing maps at speeds I can't possibly match. I'm running a poison SRS build, while it can clear faster than my skeleton mage build, it's not an instant screen-melting menace like a lot of these streamers and youtubers use, especially since they always seem to use Delirium which forces you to be fast. Surely there's something I could try and do at my speed?

I would also like to try bossing since I expect that's where my build would shine the best in. In the past, I farmed Elder guardians, twisted invitations for Crescent Splinters, and Elder for unID Watcher's Eyes, but those have started going down in value and I worry they may no longer be worth the investment.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

These "high investment" strategies kinda' involve picking up a lot of stuff, then bulk-selling. If you don't play a lot, probably you'd end up with currency stash empty, and with the fragments one full of stuff that worth less then a divine per stash slot.

So let's assume I do pick up a lot of stuff. Hell I'm currently speccing into Expedition, and haggling means having to pick up a lot of stuff to sell in bulk. :P

There aren't any, which is why speed should never be balanced around directly because it has its own reward.

Indirectly slower builds can usually handle juicier or harder content more safely which allows them a differential compared to speed builds to work on for farming. Problem is that only matters on HC, on SC its irrelevant you may as well go as fast as possible while still just about clearing said content.

What works best is content that doesn't require movement speed to clear effectively but your build has specific strengths vs. For example you can run super juiced logbooks with the right type of character where you only need to avoid your primary damage type immunity and nothing else - this is unusual and zoomers can't clear it faster due to it being limited by detonation speed and setup not how fast you move.

Bossing is 100% speed focused on SC trade, drop rates are based on it and you have to be able to run a large number of contracts quickly to actually see profit.

So from what I can gather in your response is that I'm best left doing logbooks?

Blight maps are also quite rewarding, if you like this type of content.

I do happen to like Blight, and I even saw a video recently of how to make blight-ravaged maps give good profit.

Makes sense, because it's another league that can't be completed on high speed. If I could somehow squeeze this into my atlas passive tree alongside Expedition, that would be ideal.

Just about anything in PoE is a currency maker if optimised and focused so all you have to do is think "could I clear this faster as a zoomer" if the answers no then your slower builds probably not too disadvantaged doing it.

Logbooks aren't faster, nor is blight as mentioned above, Delve is fairly non-speed related as most time is spent at nodes not traveling. Ironically the best currency maker for slower builds is crafting lmao something that doesn't really use your build at all.

Most of the popular publicised stuff is zoomer territory though as its what gets peoples attention, nobody wants to see me farming blight ravaged maps its pretty tedious especially when you are setup with 3 minutes to go and you can just about AFK.
Being slow will always be a disadvantage in this game, there is no way you'll come out ahead against someone who does ten times as many maps with same juice as you in any given time, no matter what strategy you employ.

That said, you don't have to compete with zoomers to make money. Just pick content you like, invest into it on the tree and sell the shit you get from it. If you are concerned about speed, avoid mechanics that require it like Deli or Incursion and focus on stuff like Heist or Expedition, they don't have timers and can be very profitable.
