Light Radius is based on ES instead of Life

Spending 1 node on this useless mastery (from char power perspective) is not a good way to make playing more comfortable on dark maps.
I can use this 1 node to get 2% dps or 70es or ... .

Same as craft on ring | helmet, it dosent affects character power at all, but wastes suffix slot

This stat even exists only on 1 es mastery and 1 tree node (light of divinity)

Best solution i can suggest - make it be in settings, removed from char power at all

Another good solution - add it to "Zealot's Oath" keystone, since most "life reserve" builds using it.
"Pain Attunement" also seems good candidate there.

been running blind for ages now, its never been worth a point ultimately with all the pressure put on you to get xyz-million dps.

Light radius is such an archaic stat; very much part of the early “we’re doing this because it was in Diablo” family of mechanics. We already have accuracy and critical strikes as a kind of ‘good at perceiving things’ representation, which makes light radius pretty incoherent as a role-playing model of anything. How is it you can be bad at seeing monsters from halfway across the room but good at hitting those monsters you can’t see accurately and with the most precise and damaging strikes?

It is kind of immersive sometimes when you're in a dark library with no lighting versus a tropical island with tons of light where it doesn't matter.

If anything light radius just needs to be expanded more as a mechanic and allow us to leverage it to make more builds or wacky combinations of stuff.. and perhaps you know... less light radius as a focus too :D maybe

But i will say if they made the minimap only work with light radius that would definitely make a lot of people like myself a little more at attention at least in regards to allocating that single point or crafting it on an item over another stat.(pls dont)

Except it was a passive until GGG decided to move to mastery so that it can be accessed via multiple passive clusters

Oh I don't have a problem with a light radius stat if it's modelling, you know, light sources. A dark library isn't dark because you're low on health, it's dark because the windows are shut and nobody brought a torch.
