Damage Taken From Hits Leeched as Life During Effect and Tanu Ahi Inconsistency

When using the Tanu Ahi gloves, I rarely get the onslaught/adrenaline buff using Forbidden Rite + Life flask with Damage Taken From Hits Leeched as Life During Effect flask craft.

Upon getting any source of leech, the gloves work more consistently and I gain onslaught and adrenaline much more often, with/without pressing the life flask. In my case, I used a level 1 Life Leech Support and first noticed it with Einhar.

My character has no life leech modifiers, my Forbidden Rite creates 5 leech instances of minimum 2764*0.02 = 55, 55*5=275. My Life Flask recovers much faster at around 2217 life per second.

Theoretically, the life flask should recover my life to full faster, thus proccing Tanu Ahi faster. In both cases, I should have a life leech instance due to the flask mod and my skill being Forbidden Rite self damaging me.

I have tested this with and without my life on kill / recover 4% life when flask used and the results seem to be the same. Using Wurm's Molt to increase the size of the life leech given my the flask mod does not seem to increase the proc rate.
