On-Click Nameplate Lock Change

It has taken me a long time, but I have finally figured out why nameplate locks in this game bug me so much.

Problem: Namelock functions as if it's coded to engage on left-click (tested) or on right-click (assuming this works the same with right-click) and not disengaging until both left and right click and lifted simultaneously, causing characters to move in unexpected directions.

In the following example, I will use strongboxes as a case where this is a huge problem. Strongboxes are being used because they are one of the more likely scenarios a character will be removed from hardcore or lose 10% exp.

The following should also be under the assumption the player is playing a very fast attack or cast speed build, is using right click for the main skill and is constantly stutter stepping.

When clicking on a strongbox nameplate, if a player does not fully release their left click before right click is engaged, you will lock onto the nameplate until both mouse buttons are fully released. In this situation, imagine clicking on a strongbox, quickly moving your mouse the other way, using a movement skill, keeping your mouse in the direction of movement, and attempting to run away while still constantly stutter stepping.

Expected Results:
Your character should run in the direction of the mouse cursor

Actual Results:
Your character runs towards Strongbox and will not stop until both mouse buttons are fully depressed.

How to test this with non-strongbox objects:
Understand stutter stepping: Quickly attacking and moving, usually with two buttons quickly cycling between the two, usually with so little time between depressions it is unlikely both left and right click will be lifted simultaneously.

Left click on an item on the ground, then immediately begin stutter stepping in the opposite direction. Make sure to use a movement skill quickly to ensure you get the maximum effect of running toward an object that is opposite your mouse cursor.

Workaround:
Enable enable Item Pickup: Use Bound Key

Solution:
Make nameplate locks independent of left and right mouse clicks. If I release my left mouse or vice versa, I should never remain nameplate locked.

bump, any staff attention?

I've stockholmed myself into subconsciously clicking in empty space then dragging to where I want to run, even if it would send me walking somewhere random and unuseful before I drag (which it usually does).

Honestly the real workaround is to set a move only hotkey and use that to move instead of left click, but then you lose niceities like vortex/insta enduring cry automation.
