Are 1:1 AHK Trading Macros allowed?
Sorry if this isn't the right place for this type of discussion;
I use a Trackball mouse with no scroll wheel & am currently staring down 2.5 quad tabs (~1400) yellow beasts I need to sell. I Can't just scroll to click and move my wrist since its a trackball, so I'm looking for an alternative. I assume an auto clicker is not allowed. Am I allowed to create a 1:1 AHK Macro to solve this? Something numpad based where pressing "1" through "5" are just Up & 1 click, then "6" is a reset Y level & move right (no click - I understand this could be added to the end of "5", but rowing 6 keys feels more natural)? I'd be manually pressing 72 keys per 60 items put into a trade window, and it sounds much better for the customer's time. Last bumped on Apr 26, 2023, 3:45:19 AM

The rule is clear: Macros are allowed as long as they perform one single server-side action. Client-side you are allowed to do as many action you want - which is why an auto-reply macro is allowed (opening chat and writing is Client-side, pressing ENTER and sending a message is Server)
I guess only moving cursor on the screen without clicking (your "6" action) is a full Client-side action, so they are definitely enabled. The other 1-to-5 only has 1 click so they too seem to be good enough |

" Thank you! I wanted a second opinion to play it safe - I'd rather not risk 10 years of gameplay selling Beasts T.T I'll give it a go then =) |
