Impossible Escape Jewel question.

I don't get one thing - why i can't allocate masteries inside radius of jewel if im taking notables?
Is that working as intended?

I can understand that allocating other jewel sockets inside radius not allowed - but masteries?
Have 3 masteries near Supreme Ego that im wanna allocate since notables is taken - and i can't - wtf?

i would really like an answer to this as well seems like bullshit to me!

Masteries are not in the radius of jewels in general, so this is the usual behavior for the passive tree.

Masteries, like passives, require a path from the passive to your class's starting point. Jewels that allow you to allocate passives in a radius do not serve as a path to those passives, they simply allow you to skip the path requirement.

As a result, you cannot use a passive allocated in this way to allocate passives outside of the jewel's radius, because those would not have a path to your starting point. The same goes for Masteries, as they are not in the jewel's radius.
