Why isnt there any Samurai cosmetics?

I just saw some crazy DBZ art that had them redrawn in Samurai armor and now I need to look like one too.

The game is made by a company in NZ, not china.

But I would assume that they never made a samurai mtx cause it simply doesn't fit to well into the more darkish world of wraeclast.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

That was myt first thought, it doesn't fit the lore and style.

Then I thought of fairy wings, harlequin auras, poms and corgis.

I understand this is a role playing game, but I don't think the best role to play should be shopkeeper. - AlteraxPoe
There are a fair number of Japanese-styled weapons in the game, culturally tagged as belonging to the Maraketh. Go figger. =0[.]o=

They own a part of the company to run their own version of the game for their country.
GGG designs their own stuff for our version after all and Tencent only cares about the mtx for now exclusive version of path.

How is 'samurai' not fit into a dark world? Warring States fiction is like 60% of Samurai fiction, and it's dark as heck. Traditional armor tends towards dark red (i.e blood), wearing large horned demon and ogre masks. The setting already has a massively japanese inspired group (the Maraketh and the Order of the Djinn), both of which use many Japanese weapons, we've seen Sai, Katana (well more of a No-Dachi). Granted, it's taking a blend of east cultural ideas, as the Hook Sword is firmly a chinese thing, while the Maraketh bow is very similar in design to the Ming era war bows, and the Eclipse Staff reminds me of the Chinese Wo Shu staves.

Also go look at Glimmerwood Armor set, it's a glowy armor set with a big dumb floppy hat. The White Armor set is by no means within the scope of the dark horror themes PoE prefer. The Scientist pack (and all the Necrotechs and Tane) are WELL outside of the fantasy elements the of the games norm (And look silly to boot!). I have two wands that turn people into cats! There are ants that scuddle around towns! You cannot in good faith call these in the tone of 'dark horror' themes to the point that you can argue against including a Samurai theme (a culture entirely set about service and warfare, two key themes in Path).

MTX can (and often should) exist to a degree outside of the norm, it allows the buyer to stand out against the backdrop of the world, and fill a flavor they can't get another way (hence encouraging them to spend). Even if there was ONLY a kabuto or mempo, it'd go a long way to filling that style, and there's a TON of cool designs you could draw from that fit within the Vaal and Maraketh ascethic.

The design of the Herasy Wand is basically what you'd expect on a mempo alone, and the Thrillsteel straight up IS a Japanese kabuto with a traditional visor. Kintsugi is a farly to style samurai armorset named after a Japanese technique of mending ceramics with gold.

As to GGG's connections to china, while it's true they are a New Zealand company, they do have chinese influence looking over their shoulder, but I've not seen a ton of evidence (see above) they are kowtowing to that (litterally). Or more speifically, most of their chinese changes are done in the chinese clients, but I'm well too far outside of the circle to know that for sure what is and isn't being included or excluded as a result.
is this one not samurai? I always thought it was

The construction of this is more in line with Qin Dynasty lamellar, though many of the mail elements are replaced by plate. The 'helm' is somewhat japanese in style, the rice hat did get popularized by some of the early Samurai movies, but it's not exactly rare in China.
