The infinite Hunger, and how it really makes me consider stopping this game

This fight, and everything about it, is terrible.
So, i went in there before googling what it is about. i went in there, thinking: how hard can it be? I had 89% xp to next level.

Of course i died in the sludge. Lost 10%. Came back in, and apparently my debuffs didnt disappear.

So Hunger oneshots me. Again and again and again and again.

Not only did i have no chance to win this encounter, it cost me a whole level of xp, which to me is hours of gameplay.

Who thought of designing such a terrible encounter?
Not giving a single hint of what to do?

I honestly lost all motivation to keep playing.

i mean yeah the fight is horrible, not even that difficult, just horrible, but going into a boss fight you've never done bevor while being 11% away from your next level up and savepoint and then losing all your XP to the boss fight is entirely on you. Just running 2 more maps likely would have avoided it.

What is your movement speed when channeling cyclone?
