" Mhh... yes and no. I think the main problem is, that we got a small but very active group of pro players that really learned how to play the game. For those, every new toy they get hands on usually ends up in more dps. On the other hand, for the "average" player that finishes the story, it becomes (at least felt) harder and harder to invent their own builds aside from the common meta stuff and be successful with them in terms of clearing the real endgame content. This gap is, what makes it somewhat difficult for GGG to balance the game and especially new stuff. You say Prison Cell, I hear 'Holiday'.
