Level 5 Awakened Elemental Damage With Attacks Support Not Working

I'm playing my LA Deadeye character called "BelakaySwiftReroll" you will see that I have two setups, Lightning arrow in a 6link that contains Awakened elemental damage with attacks at level 5 as well as a 5 link manaforged arrow that also contains a level 5 awakened elemental damage with attacks.
After running a reflect elemental damage map it became very obvious that my manaforged arrow setup was in fact reflecting damage to me.
I have tested this in multiple maps with and without the manaforged arrow setup and its very clear its only the manaforged arrow that reflects damage.

So, how you can support your default attack with the gem?

Hello, I've found that the reflect damage is coming from the mana forged arrows on my build, please test and check if it is not the same for you

I've been working on this all day trying to figure out where my elemental reflect is coming from as it's killing my ability to fight Uber Atziri. I'm using awakened elemental damage with attack support, yet I kept dying.

I found a post mentioning that "if you run out of mana you will default attack, The awakened gem does not support default attack."

I've done a lot of testing and with a full/half-full mana bar, I still take reflect damage. The moment I removed mana forge arrows, the dying ceased. If this gem supports the attacks and those attacks are elemental and those elements are supported with the awakened gem, reflected elemental damage should not be taken.

For reference, I know it's not the physical damage as I'm running Sibyl's Lament ring in the right slot with Yugul lesser god and have tested in physical reflect maps and do not die.
