Ignite proliferation gem not working with elementalist ignite ascendancy

I am a wave of conviction elementalist with the ignite ascendancy node specced in and when I kill enemies with ignite there is no proliferation left on the ground.
It seems to work when I start putting my ignite chance up, but I thought the purpose of elementalist igniting every hit was to not have to gain ignite chance?? Last bumped on Sep 6, 2023, 8:33:33 PM

Ignite prolif spreads to Enemies themselves within a small radius, not to the ground.

I know how it supposed to work, it does normally leave a ring on the ground for a short duration.

I have narrowed it down to it being a wave of conviction issue, ignite proliferation is working fine with other skills |

I was having the same issue and it does seem to be a bug on the wave of conviction skill gem itself.
