My leap seems incredibly short.

I know this might sound like a strange question, but I have been having an issue with Leap Slam. First, I have Leap Slam linked with Faster Attack. And I have a 1.79 speed weapon.

Now I see Streamer videos all the time of Tyty and other people seeming able to leap at high speed from the middle to the edge of the screen. I can leap very quickly, but the distance is incredibly short. Perhaps half the distance from the middle to the edge of the screen. I think to get a full screen (side to other side) it would take me at least 3 leaps, maybe for. While it appears to me I see other people doing it in two. It always seems like I'm missing something.

I went to standard and grabbed the same class Character with lvl 16 FA and 18 leap same exact weapons and the he jumps the same distance as my lvl 29. So what am I missing here?

You can get nearly twice as much range leaping diagonally, towards the corners of the screen, as you do when leaping in a straight line towards the edges. Flame Dash works the same way. I'm fairly certain the Wiki entry for Leap Slam says something about this, but I can't recall offhand how detailed it is.
