Noob six socket question

I am trying to six socket my level 69 farruls fur. I’ve used over 100 jewelers and haven’t even seen five sockets once. Item is level 20 quality as well. What am I missing? Any help is greatly appreciated.

A lot more jewelers. If you are trying to 6-socket by hand, expect to use closer to 300 jewelers (with bad rng, a thousand jewelers). 100 doesn't even hit 5-socket on average.

There is also a benchcraft that costs 350 jewelers but guarantees the 6 socket if you dont want to gamble.

Thank you for the info. I didn’t unlock the five and six socket recipes yet in maps so I’ll have to decide which method of madness to choose.
