Ruthless Item Filter - The worst thing about ruthless ...

Just to show where I come from:
I always messed with making my own lootfilter and later done heavy customization using neversink`s templates.
I am one of the gamer`s who prefer hiding potentially usefull stuff and prefer seeing almost no drops, but almost all the drops I see I want/will pick up, over having do decide while playing what to and not to pick up.

While playing the campaign I could tolerate the inability to fully "hide" drops, but starting with early maps it really makes the game less enjoyable to me.
[I see so much more drops even compared to my lvl 95+ endgame challenge farming filter and the worst part is most is totally useless junk ...]

Hope I´m not alone with this opinion and we can get this functionality back.
[I don´t understand why it was removed in the first place, considering the player base using a loot filter should be considered mature enough to understand the consequences/implications. With the need for a loot filter to explicitly state, that it´s for ruthless I don´t see the point.]

To me this problem even makes me consider stopping to play ruthless when I reach maps ...

GGG people seem to live in their own bubble. So far I have seen zero indication they will change it. On the contrary - they reduced item drops: This shows they are aware of the problem in a technical sense but their awareness seems to be disjunct from the practical gameplay reality as this didnt actually fix anything.

I am doing this instead of 'Hide' - its better than nothing but doesnt fix the the issues accidental pickups, bugginess of item label text placement, conceptual problems with too much loot on screen:
"
DisableDropSound
SetBackgroundColor 0 0 0 80
SetBorderColor 0 0 0 80
SetTextColor 0 0 0 80
SetFontSize 1
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
To me it´s about the big WHY time and effort were invested to disallow hiding items in the first place (and objectively worsen the usability of lootfilters).

Requiring to flag a filter for ruthless should prevent the only reason I can up with for not allowing to hide items:
"Preventing players from using an inappropriate lootfilter"
