Rolling Magma Crucible mod and pinpoint support possible bug

The wording on this seems to imply that both INCREASES and REDUCTION to projectile count are affected, which means that the support gem Pinpoint , which reduces proj count , would be fair to use as said Crucible mod would stop it from reducing proj count.

I understand if this is intended to not work with Pinpoint, as bypassing some of the downsides of the support gem might is strong, but it would be nice to know if its working as it should or not.
