Disconnected from server and now my character is in standard. What?

I don't understand what happened. I clicked my flask and I got disconnected from the piety fight. When I tried spamming to log back in, I noticed I was in standard league but you can clearly see in the video my HP was not 0 and my flask was healing me. Piety was nearly dead as well. Is there any possibility of me getting my character back on hardcore at all? If not, that's just a bunch of time wasted and I was planning on buying stashes this weekend which sucks lol.

If you lose your connection to the server, it will take some time for the server to deduce that you’re no longer connected and it should log you out (your client is, inherently, incapable of saying “hi I’m no longer connected to you” - if it was, you would still be connected to the server).
