First to strike, last to fall. Adrenaline from other sources, not removing ailments?

Based on the wording of First to strike, last to fall - any source of adrenaline should trigger the removal of ALL ailments. However it does not appear to trigger when getting adrenaline from an external source (This case stun Mastery, get adrenaline for 2 seconds per 100ms when stunned).
Is this how the interaction should occur, or would this count as a bug?
