Expedition monsters with shields still block attacks while having "cannot block" mastery

Have monsters cannot block 95% Hit chance About 6 hit a second Still took 2 seconds to BREAK THEIR WARD. This shows clearly that my Attack hits did no damage and were blocked. |

the character screen hit chance is just an estimate. The monster probably still have high evasion rating...

I think one type of expedition monsters with shields apparently don't block. They put up some sort of directional proximity shield infront of them instead.
