Anti Reflect Pantheon and/or Phys Mastery DOES NOT WORK
Hello, i had a map today with phys reflect, so i went and grabbed the Pantheon for anti-reflect and took the Physical mastery for anti-reflect as well. Both together should be 110% reduced reflected damage taken, yet i still died.
So i went ahead and tested it. Rolled a low-tier map with Phys reflect as The only Mod and went in. A handful of mob groups later and i was again dead on the ground. Some groups were fine, other groups seemed to reflect my full damage and instantly kill me. I made a recording, showing that i have both the Pantheon and the Mastery, that my ability is doing purely Physical Damage and then went and fought some mobs. One increases Physical damage taken, the other reduces Reflected Damage. Usually GGG is extremely specific with their wording so one would assume if i reduce reflected damage by 100%, it doesn't matter if it the physical part of the damage gets increased even by a million times.
Also does not explain how i was able to kill multiple mob groups without taking any damage at all and others where the reflect damage instantly killed me. |

" Increases and reductions to the same stat happen at the same time. "% increased damage" and "% increased fire damage" will increase the fire damage you deal by the same amount because they affect the same stat at the same time; they are not multiplicative. "% increased physical damage taken" and "% reduced reflected physical damage taken" will both affect damage taken at the same time, assuming the damage taken is both physical damage and reflected damage. This means that you need more "% reduced reflected physical damage taken" to reach "0% reflected physical damage taken" if you have "% increased physical damage taken". Since they take effect at the same time, they are additive, so 110% reduced and 40% increased is (100-110+40) = 30% damage taken. " Number of enemies hit, crit chance, crit multiplier, building up Rage. Molten Shell not increasing your armour and taking damage for you this time. You would've killed yourself on an earlier pack than that if Adrenaline hadn't kicked in and recovered 25% of your life. |
