Transmutation shards not converting to Orb of Transmutation at 20 stack

When selling items to vendors, when a stack of 20 transmutation shards is met, the shards disappear, but no transmutation orb is created. This has happened multiple times

Cannot replicate.

Keep in mind that a filled stack of shards will only create an orb in that slot if there are no other orbs of that type in your inventory.

If you are carrying an Orb of Transmutation and finish a stack of Transmutation Shards, the Shards will "disappear" and the created Orb will be added to the existing stack.

I have a similar problem. I've collected dozens of transmutation shards but none of them have converted into an orb of transmutation.

this video shows the number of transmutation orbs increasing when you fill the stack...
