Tainted Pact bugged or misworded.....

"Taking chaos damage over time heals you instead while leeching life" is bugged or misworded...

Poison is an ailment dealing CHAOS DAMAGE OVER TIME right?
Then why doesn't self poison work with this amulet??
If i poison myself i litterally take chaos damage over time and still i end up killing myself with this amulet on...

And yes, i am using offering to the serpent with makes life leech effect not be removed when unreserved life is filled..

Therefor i am always leeching and should always heal from chaos damage over time (e.g. my poisons on myself)

(also, may be the same old thing that self poison self chill , or other self inflict does not work with some mechanic)

Shouldent leech work 5 second?
To get the leech I have life leech support linked.

He is worded so is forward this bug report to the dev team to investigate.....it is the team to decide it is a real bug or not.

I think his wording was changed to not outright confirm it is a bug, unlike his previous (a few years ago?) wording

So after some testing, the behaviour you're seeing is intended.

Poison has a base duration of 4 second, the duration of your leech is probably much shorter than this.

Each instance of leech will heal you at a base rate of 2% of your Maximum Life per second.

For example, let's say your Maximum Life is 2000.
You hit an enemy for 500 damage and you leech 2% of that damage (10 life leeched).
2000 Maximum Life means that you base leech rate is 40 per second, the 10 life you leeched will heal you at a rate of 40 per second which means the duration of your leech in this case will be 0.25 seconds.

I hope this help.
Seems like a selution. With that info I tested again while mapping. Looks to work then when hitting a bit harder...
