New Life Mastery "10% with 6+ allocated" ?

Hey, how does this one work ?
"10% More max life if you have at least 6 Life Masteries allocated"

Usually in POE, wording is really precise and important... But here I find it weird.

You need to have "Life Masteries" allocated, the very points that give you a choice to pick ?
But then why "at least 6" ? There are exactly 6 anyway...

you need to alocate all masteries for that one to have any effect.

In the live reveal a week before the league, you mean ? I haven't watched it.. What did they say about it ?

It seems kind of oddly specific. I suppose that if they decide to add more mastery options in the future it doesnt require any rewording. Since it would always be worse off for every added total life mastery nodes if they worded it with, "#% more Max Life if you have all Life Masteries allocated"

I agree with fistoz. He stated his question very succinctly, and did not get a direct answer to his question. Then people become rude to him, saying the answer is "out there" but not actually expanding on his original question.

When datamining Crucible Notables, I've noticed numerical values in pretty much every kind of modifier is valued by a range, changing wording in certain cases (for example, 100% chance to pierce becomes "always pierce", and there is a whole different label ingame for that).

At the same time, it is clear getting all 6 masteries, right now, is expensive for no reason but that modifiers - nobody, no build whatsoever, will find useful being full life at 95% AND low life at 55%, they either get the 95% by reserving the least life possible (for the other Aura mastery) OR they get the 55% low life for the new Leech shenanigans)

My theory is that they are leaving this wording in a possible future patch where this number gets reduced to maximum minus one (in this case, 5). Of course, just a personal hunch
