Totem MTX not applying to Soul Mantle

I cannot put my totem MTX on my Soul Mantle ("-Type Mismatch"). Is this intended or a bug?

It is most certainly intended since they only added soul mantle to the mtx list for the purpose of putting totem skins on it. This should be fix as soon as possible because it seems like a scam when someone goes and buys a skin when it shows them it should work and then they cant even put it on.

This has been possible since Echoes of the Atlas 2 years ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/kxk449/we_have_one_small_final_reveal_before_we_launch/ It was a reveal they did around that time, not only that but if you use a soul mantle your mtx tab has the option to apply totem mtx.
